Postcovide syndrome
Postcovide syndrome is a long-term health complication after COVID-19. Symptoms can vary in severity and severity. Persistent problems mainly affect the lungs, heart, brain, kidneys, stomach, muscles and nervous system. Other problems include headaches, shortness of breath, sore throat, weakness with feeling exhausted or problems with sleep. These difficulties often persist for weeks or months. It is a reaction of the organism after a serious viral infection, where one of the main causes is a lack of oxygen caused by inflammation - the so-called silent hypoxia.
In the world, especially in the USA and Western Europe, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which is used for chronic and urgent medical conditions associated with a lack of oxygen in the tissues - hypoxia - has proved very useful for treatment. Hyperbaric therapy is a great anti-inflammatory agent, where at a chamber pressure above 1.3 ATA and when breathing almost 100% oxygen, there is a rapid recovery of damaged tissue and significantly shortens the recovery time. Shortness of breath, fatigue and sleep quality improve after the first therapy.
We recommend undergoing at least 10 hours of therapy in a hyperbaric chamber to improve health after undergoing COVID-19. We closely monitor the development of the effect of hyperbaric therapy on the treatment of postcovide syndrome. We have foreign clinical studies available, which we will be happy to send you on request.
