Tinnitus
Tinnitus is a technical term for a sound perception in the ear or head (ringing, tinkling, buzzing) that does not come from an external source and can increase or decrease at various intervals. It is intense in the evening before going to bed, when one is at peace and quiet.
A large body of new research shows that hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps to treat or alleviate tinnitus and other hearing disorders. Hyperbaric therapy is most effective in the first three months after hearing loss or the onset of tinnitus.
Foreign studies show that the vast majority of patients reduce their hearing loss by more than 20% after hyperbaric therapy. Many patients reach a complete cure.
We will be happy to send studies from the USA, Germany and the United Kingdom on request.
